Hydrological surveys of the Ust-Khantai HPP

TRANSAS Consulting performed a site survey at the Ust-Khantayskaya HPP, which is part of the JSC “Norilsk-Taimyr Energy Company”.

Surveys were carried out on the subject of the possibility of installing and operating hydroacoustic stations and included:

•  hydrography of the upper pool with the compilation of a depth map;
•  noise measurements in the water area;
•  measurement of temperatures and flow rates at the intended installation sites;
•  software simulation of the detection range of a diver under existing and other weather conditions
