In a experimental tank of the "Krylov State Research Center" our team has tested some new features of the Diver Detection System (DDS).
For such testing a modification "DDS-300K" was chosen. This modification is specially designed to work in shallow waters and long channels.
The system has preformed quite well and identified a diver at a distance of more than 600 m (maximal experimental tank length) , which is twice the detection range of 300 m indicated in the technical specifications.
